Arizona State Defeats UNLV 37-10 - Recap
Jayden Daniels scampered through the UNLV defense for 122 yards as Arizona State handed the Rebels a 37-10 defeat on Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium, Frank Kush Field.
Arizona State won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -34.5-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 56.0.
Jayden Daniels rushed for 122 yards, while Rachaad White added 90 yards in the win. LV Bunkley-Shelton and Rachaad White added 42 and 41 receiving yards respectively.
Doug Brumfield rushed for 43 yards for UNLV, while Charles Williams added 35 yards. Justin Rogers threw for 7 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Kyle Williams and Zyell Griffin had 27 and 17 yards respectively.
UNLV lost the offensive yardage battle to Arizona State 462-155 yards in Saturday's game. Arizona State had more first downs as that total ended up 29-11.
The time of possession battle favored Arizona State as their offense was on the field for 34:43, longer than the 25:17 of their opponents.
Next game, Arizona State takes its act on the road to face BYU looking for another win. For UNLV, they head home to face Iowa State.
