Auburn Defeats LSU 24-19 - Recap

John Samuel Shenker inflicted damage on the LSU secondary, receiving 102 yards as Auburn defeated the Tigers 24-19 at Tiger Stadium.

Auburn won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 56.0.

Bo Nix rushed for 74 yards, while Jarquez Hunter added 65 yards in the win. John Samuel Shenker and Demetris Robertson added 102 and 60 receiving yards respectively.

Corey Kiner rushed for 22 yards for LSU, while Tyrion Davis-Price added 18 yards. Max Johnson threw for 325 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Kayshon Boutte and Jack Bech had 127 and 84 yards respectively.

LSU lost the offensive yardage battle to Auburn 453-358 yards in Saturday's game. Auburn had more first downs as that total ended up 23-19.

Auburn lost the time of possession battle 31:14-28:46, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Auburn takes its act home to face Georgia looking for another win. For LSU, they head on the road to face Kentucky.
