Recap - Seminoles Defeat Massachusetts 59-3
Florida State got a 127-yard performance from Jashaun Corbin as a key part of its 59-3 victory over the Minutemen on Saturday at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.
The Seminoles were a -35.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 59.0.
Jashaun Corbin rushed for 127 yards, while Jordan Travis added 78 yards in the win. Andrew Parchment and Malik McClain added 65 and 51 receiving yards respectively.
Zamar Wise rushed for 60 yards for Massachusetts, while Brady Olson added 21 yards. Brady Olson threw for 110 yards for the Minutemen, while receivers Ellis Merriweather and Eric Collins had 65 and 24 yards respectively.
Massachusetts lost the offensive yardage battle to Florida State 586-241 yards in Saturday's game. Florida State had more first downs as that total ended up 25-14.
Massachusetts led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:16-29:44 split in that important category.
Next game, Florida State takes its act on the road to face Clemson looking for another win. For Massachusetts, they head on the road to face Liberty.
