Wyoming Cowboys vs Boise State Broncos Wrap - Boise State Wins 23-13
Boise State got a 102-yard performance from George Holani as a key part of its 23-13 victory over the Cowboys on Friday at Albertsons Stadium.
Boise State did not, however, defeat the Cowboys against the spread, which closed at -13.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.5.
George Holani rushed for 102 yards, while Cyrus Habibi-Likio added 41 yards in the win. Khalil Shakir and Billy Bowens added 83 and 36 receiving yards respectively.
Titus Swen rushed for 59 yards for Wyoming, while Xazavian Valladay added 37 yards. Levi Williams threw for 156 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Isaiah Neyor and Wyatt Wieland had 126 and 15 yards respectively.
Boise State outgained Wyoming 385-288 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-11 by the Broncos.
The time of possession battle favored Boise State as their offense was on the field for 33:34, longer than the 26:26 of their opponents.
Next game, Boise State takes its act home to face New Mexico looking for another win. For Wyoming, they head on the road to face Utah State.
