Tigers Down Louisiana-Monroe 27-14 - Match Report

Max Johnson sliced and diced the Warhawks defense for 319 yards as LSU handed Louisiana-Monroe a 27-14 defeat on Saturday at Tiger Stadium.

LSU did not, however, defeat the Warhawks against the spread, which closed at -28.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 57.5.

Max Johnson completed 22 of 33 pass attempts for 319 yards for the Tigers in the win.

Malik Jackson rushed for 78 yards for Louisiana-Monroe, while Chandler Rogers added 24 yards. Chandler Rogers threw for 36 yards for the Warhawks, while receivers Boogie Knight and Fred Lloyd Jr. had 57 and 42 yards respectively.

Louisiana-Monroe lost the offensive yardage battle to LSU 411-311 yards in Saturday's game. Louisiana-Monroe had more first downs as that total ended up 18-17.

The time of possession battle favored LSU as their offense was on the field for 32:45, longer than the 27:15 of their opponents.
