UTEP Miners vs Oklahoma Sooners Wrap - Oklahoma Wins 45-13
Eric Gray ran for 102 yards as Oklahoma handled UTEP by a score of 45-13 on Saturday at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
The Sooners were a -31.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score pushed PUSH the total, which closed at 58.0.
Eric Gray rushed for 102 yards, while Marcus Major added 54 yards in the win. Marvin Mims and Brayden Willis added 81 and 40 receiving yards respectively.
Ronald Awatt rushed for 39 yards for UTEP, while Deion Hankins added 15 yards. Gavin Hardison threw for 244 yards for the Miners, while receivers Reynaldo Flores and Tyrin Smith had 76 and 71 yards respectively.
UTEP lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma 492-316 yards in Saturday's game. UTEP had more first downs as that total ended up 26-23.
The time of possession battle favored UTEP as their offense was on the field for 38:33, longer than the 21:27 of their opponents.
Oklahoma looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Kent State. UTEP will aim to get back on the winning track vs. New Mexico State.
