Oklahoma State Defeats Central Michigan 58-44 - Recap

Spencer Sanders sliced and diced the Chippewas defense for 406 yards as Oklahoma State handed Central Michigan a 58-44 defeat on Thursday at Boone Pickens Stadium.

The Cowboys earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -20.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 58.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Spencer Sanders completed 28 of 41 pass attempts for 406 yards for the Cowboys in the win.

Lew Nichols III rushed for 72 yards for Central Michigan, while Myles Bailey added 51 yards. Daniel Richardson threw for 424 yards for the Chippewas, while receivers Jalen McGaughy and Carlos Carriere had 126 and 75 yards respectively.

Central Michigan outgained Oklahoma State 546-531 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 31-28 by the Chippewas.

Central Michigan led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:08-23:52 split in that important category.

Oklahoma State heads into a Week 2 battle against Arizona State. Central Michigan, meanwhile, will have their next action against South Alabama.
