Arizona State Sun Devils vs USC Trojans Wrap - USC Wins 42-25
USC's aerial attack produced 348 yards and the Trojans produced a 42-25 victory over Arizona State on Saturday at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Trojans won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -25.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Caleb Williams completed 27 of 37 pass attempts for 348 yards for the Trojans in the win.
Xazavian Valladay rushed for 64 yards for Arizona State, while Daniyel Ngata added 29 yards. Emory Jones threw for 243 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Bryan Thompson and Xazavian Valladay had 86 and 29 yards respectively.
Arizona State lost the offensive yardage battle to USC 485-331 yards in Saturday's game. USC had more first downs as that total ended up 29-20.
USC led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:05-29:55 split in that important category.
Next game, USC takes its act home to face Washington State looking for another win. For Arizona State, they head home to face Washington.
