Georgia Bulldogs vs Kentucky Wildcats Recap - Bulldogs Win 16-6
The Wildcats had no answer for Kenny McIntosh on Saturday as the Bulldogs rolled to a 16-6 win at Kroger Field.
Georgia did not, however, defeat the Wildcats against the spread, which closed at -22.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 47.0.
Kenny McIntosh rushed for 143 yards, while Daijun Edwards added 50 yards in the win. Dominick Blaylock and Ladd McConkey added 38 and 28 receiving yards respectively.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed for 51 yards for Kentucky, while Will Levis added 26 yards. Will Levis threw for 206 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Barion Brown and Josh Kattus had 145 and 29 yards respectively.
Kentucky was outgained by Georgia 363-295 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-17 by the Bulldogs.
Kentucky lost the time of possession battle 30:02-29:58, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Georgia heads into a 13 battle against Georgia Tech. Kentucky, meanwhile, will have their next action against Louisville.
