Terrapins vs Wildcats Final: 31-24 - Recap

Maryland got a 179-yard performance from Roman Hemby as a key part of its 31-24 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday at SECU Stadium.

The Terrapins earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -14.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 51.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Roman Hemby rushed for 179 yards, while Billy Edwards Jr. added 66 yards in the win. Rakim Jarrett and Corey Dyches added 82 and 28 receiving yards respectively.

Evan Hull rushed for 119 yards for Northwestern, while Brendan Sullivan added 53 yards. Brendan Sullivan threw for 143 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Malik Washington and Evan Hull had 72 and 31 yards respectively.

Northwestern lost the offensive yardage battle to Maryland 423-358 yards in Saturday's game. Maryland had more first downs as that total ended up 25-24.

The time of possession battle favored Maryland as their offense was on the field for 32:50, longer than the 27:10 of their opponents.

Maryland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Wisconsin. Northwestern will aim to get back on the winning track at Iowa.
