Fresno State Defeats Purdue 39-35 - Recap

Mikey Keene's 366-yard performance through the air was the key in Fresno State's 39-35 win over Purdue on Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Bulldogs were a +4.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 46.5.

Mikey Keene completed 31 of 44 pass attempts for 366 yards for the Bulldogs in the win.

Devin Mockobee rushed for 60 yards for Purdue, while Hudson Card added 29 yards. Hudson Card threw for 254 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers Deion Burks and Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen had 152 and 46 yards respectively.

Purdue lost the offensive yardage battle to Fresno State 487-363 yards in Saturday's game. Fresno State had more first downs as that total ended up 27-19.

Purdue lost the time of possession battle 36:22-23:38, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Fresno State takes its act home to face Eastern Washington looking for another win. For Purdue, they head on the road to face Virginia Tech.
