Wildcats vs Zips Final: 35-3 - Recap
Devin Leary sliced and diced the Zips defense for 315 yards as Kentucky handed Akron a 35-3 defeat on Saturday at Kroger Field.

Lorenzo Lingard rushed for 30 yards for Akron, while DJ Irons added 30 yards. Jeff Undercuffler Jr. threw for 60 yards for the Zips, while receivers Jasaiah Gathings and Lorenzo Lingard had 43 and 41 yards respectively.
Akron lost the offensive yardage battle to Kentucky 450-239 yards in Saturday's game. Kentucky had more first downs as that total ended up 19-16.
The time of possession battle favored Akron as their offense was on the field for 34:47, longer than the 25:13 of their opponents.
Kentucky looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Vanderbilt. Akron will aim to get back on the winning track at Indiana.
