Knights Fall 31-29 Against Oklahoma - Game Recap
UCF was unable to slow down Nic Anderson, who produced 105 receiving yards as the Sooners defeated the Knights 31-29 on Saturday.
The Sooners earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -17.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 68.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Marcus Major rushed for 82 yards, while Gavin Sawchuk added 63 yards in the win. Nic Anderson and Drake Stoops added 105 and 60 receiving yards respectively.
RJ Harvey rushed for 101 yards for UCF, while Xavier Townsend added 38 yards. John Rhys Plumlee threw for 248 yards for the Knights, while receivers Javon Baker and Randy Pittman Jr. had 134 and 50 yards respectively.
UCF lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma 442-397 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma had more first downs as that total ended up 30-20.
The time of possession battle favored UCF as their offense was on the field for 30:16, longer than the 29:44 of their opponents.
Oklahoma heads into a Week 9 battle against Kansas. UCF, meanwhile, will have their next action against West Virginia.
