Jayhawks Fall 31-27 Against Kansas State - Game Recap
DJ Giddens ran for 102 yards as Kansas State handled Kansas by a score of 31-27 on Saturday at Kivisto Field at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
The Wildcats earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -7.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 60.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
DJ Giddens rushed for 102 yards, while Treshaun Ward added 63 yards in the win. Jayce Brown and Ben Sinnott added 96 and 39 receiving yards respectively.
Devin Neal rushed for 138 yards for Kansas, while Cole Ballard added 55 yards. Cole Ballard threw for 162 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Mason Fairchild and Luke Grimm had 59 and 44 yards respectively.
Kansas State was outgained by Kansas 396-331 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-19 by the Wildcats.
