Wildcats vs Golden Eagles Final: 31-0 - Recap

Kentucky dominated with defense on Saturday, taking a 31-0 shutout win over Southern Miss in Week 1 action at Kroger Field.

Southern Miss was outgained by Kentucky 317-131 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-7 by the Wildcats.

Southern Miss lost the time of possession battle 29:56-15:04, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
