Temple Falls 38-11 to Midshipmen - Recap
Blake Horvath scampered through the Temple defense for 122 yards as Navy handed the Owls a 38-11 defeat on Saturday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Navy was a favorite by -11.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 42.5.
Blake Horvath rushed for 122 yards, while Alex Tecza added 92 yards in the win. Eli Heidenreich and Myles Slade added 98 and 14 receiving yards respectively.
Antwain Littleton rushed for 22 yards for Temple, while Forrest Brock added 16 yards. Forrest Brock threw for 277 yards for the Owls, while receivers Dante Wright and Ashton Allen had 101 and 54 yards respectively.
Temple lost the offensive yardage battle to Navy 409-312 yards in Saturday's game. Navy had more first downs as that total ended up 17-16.
Temple lost the time of possession battle 30:45-29:10, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Navy takes its act home to face Memphis looking for another win. For Temple, they head home to face Coastal Carolina.
