Recap - Crimson Tide Defeat USF 42-16
The Bulls had no answer for Jam Miller on Saturday as the Crimson Tide rolled to a 42-16 win at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Crimson Tide won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -30.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Jam Miller rushed for 140 yards, while Justice Haynes added 41 yards in the win. Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard added 68 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Byrum Brown rushed for 108 yards for USF, while Nay'Quan Wright added 64 yards. Byrum Brown threw for 103 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Sean Atkins and Michael Brown-Stephens had 35 and 21 yards respectively.
USF lost the offensive yardage battle to Alabama 393-309 yards in Saturday's game. USF had more first downs as that total ended up 21-20.
The time of possession battle favored Alabama as their offense was on the field for 31:13, longer than the 28:47 of their opponents.
Alabama heads into a Week 3 battle against Wisconsin. USF, meanwhile, will have their next action against Southern Miss.
