Kansas State Wildcats vs Tulane Green Wave Wrap - Kansas State Wins 34-27

DJ Giddens ran for 114 yards as Kansas State handled Tulane by a score of 34-27 on Saturday at Benson Field at Yulman Stadium.

The Wildcats won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -8.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

DJ Giddens rushed for 114 yards, while Dylan Edwards added 54 yards in the win. DJ Giddens and Keagan Johnson added 63 and 51 receiving yards respectively.

Makhi Hughes rushed for 128 yards for Tulane, while Arnold Barnes III added 18 yards. Darian Mensah threw for 342 yards for the Green Wave, while receivers Mario Williams and Dontae Fleming had 128 and 97 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulane 491-396 yards in Saturday's game. Tulane had more first downs as that total ended up 21-19.

The time of possession battle favored Tulane as their offense was on the field for 33:11, longer than the 26:44 of their opponents.

Next game, Kansas State takes its act home to face Arizona looking for another win. For Tulane, they head on the road to face Oklahoma.
