Ole Miss Defeats Middle Tennessee 52-3 - Recap

Jaxson Dart threw for 377 yards to lead the Rebels over Middle Tennessee 52-3 on Saturday in Week 2 action at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.

Ole Miss won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -42.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 62.0.

Jaxson Dart completed 25 of 27 pass attempts for 377 yards for the Rebels in the win.

Terry Wilkins rushed for 19 yards for Middle Tennessee, while Jaiden Credle added 15 yards. Nicholas Vattiato threw for 209 yards for the Blue Raiders, while receivers Holden Willis and Cam'ron Lacy had 94 and 70 yards respectively.

Middle Tennessee lost the offensive yardage battle to Ole Miss 655-279 yards in Saturday's game. Ole Miss had more first downs as that total ended up 34-18.

The time of possession battle favored Middle Tennessee as their offense was on the field for 33:10, longer than the 26:50 of their opponents.
