Roadrunners Fall 56-7 Against Texas - Game Recap

The Roadrunners were burned by Ryan Wingo for 127 receiving yards on Saturday as the Longhorns picked up a 56-7 win at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

Texas was a favorite by -35.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 56.5.

Jerrick Gibson rushed for 75 yards, while Arch Manning added 53 yards in the win. Ryan Wingo and Isaiah Bond added 127 and 103 receiving yards respectively.

Robert Henry Jr. rushed for 65 yards for UTSA, while Brandon High Jr. added 27 yards. Owen McCown threw for 132 yards for the Roadrunners, while receivers Devin McCuin and DJ Allen had 27 and 22 yards respectively.

Texas outgained UTSA 614-260 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-14 by the Longhorns.

The time of possession battle favored UTSA as their offense was on the field for 31:01, longer than the 28:59 of their opponents.

Next game, Texas takes its act home to face Louisiana-Monroe looking for another win. For UTSA, they head home to face Houston Baptist.
