Recap - Volunteers Defeat Kent State 71-0

DeSean Bishop scampered through the Kent State defense for 120 yards as Tennessee handed the Golden Flashes a 71-0 defeat on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -49.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 62.0.

DeSean Bishop rushed for 120 yards, while Dylan Sampson added 101 yards in the win. Dont'e Thornton Jr. and Chris Brazzell II added 64 and 63 receiving yards respectively.

JD Sherrod rushed for 56 yards for Kent State, while Jordan Lowe added 32 yards. Devin Kargman threw for 58 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Chrishon McCray and Jay Jay Etheridge had 27 and 16 yards respectively.
