Georgia Southern Falls 52-13 to Rebels - Recap

Jaxson Dart led the way with 382 passing yards on Saturday as the Rebels picked up a 52-13 victory over the Eagles at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field.

The Rebels were a -35.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 68.5.

Jaxson Dart completed 22 of 31 pass attempts for 382 yards for the Rebels in the win.

Jalen White rushed for 24 yards for Georgia Southern, while Dexter Williams II added 19 yards. OJ Arnold threw for 12 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Derwin Burgess Jr. and Taylor Bradshaw had 53 and 31 yards respectively.

Ole Miss outgained Georgia Southern 607-195 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-17 by the Rebels.

The time of possession battle favored Georgia Southern as their offense was on the field for 34:26, longer than the 25:34 of their opponents.

Ole Miss looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Kentucky. Georgia Southern will aim to get back on the winning track at Georgia State.
