Recap - Buckeyes Defeat Marshall 49-14
The Thundering Herd had no answer for Quinshon Judkins on Saturday as the Buckeyes rolled to a 49-14 win at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -39.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 57.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Quinshon Judkins rushed for 173 yards, while TreVeyon Henderson added 76 yards in the win. Emeka Egbuka and Jeremiah Smith added 117 and 70 receiving yards respectively.
A.J. Turner rushed for 32 yards for Marshall, while Ethan Payne added 31 yards. Stone Earle threw for 132 yards for the Thundering Herd, while receivers Elijah Metcalf and Bralon Brown had 68 and 29 yards respectively.
Marshall lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio State 569-264 yards in Saturday's game. Ohio State had more first downs as that total ended up 23-18.
The time of possession battle favored Marshall as their offense was on the field for 36:15, longer than the 23:45 of their opponents.
Next game, Ohio State takes its act on the road to face Michigan State looking for another win. For Marshall, they head home to face Western Michigan.
