Kansas State Falls 38-9 to Cougars - Recap

The battle between the Cougars and Wildcats didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Kansas State was handed a 38-9 defeat on Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

BYU was an underdog by +7.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 50.5.

Sione I Moa rushed for 76 yards, while Enoch Nawahine added 25 yards in the win. Chase Roberts and Darius Lassiter added 47 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

DJ Giddens rushed for 93 yards for Kansas State, while Avery Johnson added 74 yards. Avery Johnson threw for 130 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Jayce Brown and Keagan Johnson had 51 and 30 yards respectively.

BYU lost the offensive yardage battle to Kansas State 367-241 yards in Saturday's game. Kansas State had more first downs as that total ended up 17-14.

Kansas State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:03-26:57 split in that important category.

BYU heads into a Week 5 battle against Baylor. Kansas State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Oklahoma State.
