USC Falls 27-24 to Wolverines - Recap
Michigan got a 159-yard performance from Kalel Mullings as a key part of its 27-24 victory over the Trojans on Saturday at Michigan Stadium.
The Wolverines were a +4.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 44.0.
Kalel Mullings rushed for 159 yards, while Donovan Edwards added 74 yards in the win. Marlin Klein and Donovan Edwards added 10 and 9 receiving yards respectively.
Woody Marks rushed for 100 yards for USC, while Quinten Joyner added 23 yards. Miller Moss threw for 283 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Zachariah Branch and Ja'Kobi Lane had 98 and 50 yards respectively.
Michigan lost the offensive yardage battle to USC 379-322 yards in Saturday's game. USC had more first downs as that total ended up 17-12.
Michigan lost the time of possession battle 30:42-29:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Minnesota. USC will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Wisconsin.
