Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders vs Memphis Tigers Recap - Tigers Win 24-7

Mario Anderson Jr. tore up the turf for 118 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Tigers to a 24-7 win over the Blue Raiders at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

The Tigers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -27.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Mario Anderson Jr. rushed for 118 yards, while Brandon Thomas added 48 yards in the win. Roc Taylor and Mario Anderson Jr. added 69 and 43 receiving yards respectively.

Jaiden Credle rushed for 39 yards for Middle Tennessee, while Terry Wilkins added 17 yards. Nicholas Vattiato threw for 283 yards for the Blue Raiders, while receivers Omari Kelly and Holden Willis had 174 and 62 yards respectively.

Memphis outgained Middle Tennessee 413-312 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-13 by the Tigers.

Middle Tennessee lost the time of possession battle 34:09-25:51, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Memphis takes its act on the road to face USF looking for another win. For Middle Tennessee, they head on the road to face LA Tech.
