Stanford Cardinal vs Clemson Tigers Recap - Tigers Win 40-14

Stanford was unable to slow down Bryant Wesco Jr., who produced 104 receiving yards as the Tigers defeated the Cardinal 40-14 on Saturday.

Clemson won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -24.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 58.0.

Phil Mafah rushed for 58 yards, while Cade Klubnik added 48 yards in the win. Bryant Wesco Jr. and Cole Turner added 104 and 61 receiving yards respectively.

Micah Ford rushed for 122 yards for Stanford, while Ashton Daniels added 87 yards. Justin Lamson threw for 54 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers Elic Ayomanor and Emmett Mosley V had 50 and 48 yards respectively.

Stanford lost the offensive yardage battle to Clemson 405-361 yards in Saturday's game. Stanford had more first downs as that total ended up 20-18.

Clemson lost the time of possession battle 33:47-26:13, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Clemson looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Florida State. Stanford will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Virginia Tech.
