South Carolina Falls 27-3 to Rebels - Recap
Ole Miss cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 27-3 score against South Carolina in Week 6 action at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Rebels were a -10.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 53.0.
Henry Parrish Jr. rushed for 81 yards, while Jaxson Dart added 44 yards in the win. Antwane Wells Jr. and Tre Harris added 97 and 81 receiving yards respectively.
LaNorris Sellers rushed for 55 yards for South Carolina, while Oscar Adaway III added 34 yards. LaNorris Sellers threw for 162 yards for the Gamecocks, while receivers Mazeo Bennett Jr. and Gage Larvadain had 41 and 39 yards respectively.
South Carolina lost the offensive yardage battle to Ole Miss 425-313 yards in Saturday's game. South Carolina had more first downs as that total ended up 19-17.
The time of possession battle favored South Carolina as their offense was on the field for 32:38, longer than the 27:22 of their opponents.
Ole Miss looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against LSU. South Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track at Alabama.
