Marshall got a 140-yard performance from Braylon Braxton as a key part of its 52-37 victory over the Mountaineers on Saturday at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

Marshall lost the offensive yardage battle to Appalachian State 473-365 yards in Saturday's game. Appalachian State had more first downs as that total ended up 32-21.
Appalachian State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:34-24:26 split in that important category.
