Cardinals Fall 45-42 Against Western Michigan - Game Recap

Western Michigan got a 124-yard performance from Jaden Nixon as a key part of its 45-42 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday at Scheumann Stadium.

Ball State lost the offensive yardage battle to Western Michigan 461-397 yards in Saturday's game. Ball State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-23.

Ball State lost the time of possession battle 32:30-27:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Western Michigan takes its act home to face Akron looking for another win. For Ball State, they head on the road to face Kent State.
