Bruins Fall 27-11 Against Penn State - Game Recap
Penn State won 27-11 on Saturday against UCLA behind a 107-yard receiving performance from Liam Clifford at Beaver Stadium.
Penn State did not, however, defeat the Bruins against the spread, which closed at -29.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.0.
Kaytron Allen rushed for 78 yards, while Beau Pribula added 6 yards in the win. Liam Clifford and Harrison Wallace III added 107 and 46 receiving yards respectively.
Jalen Berger rushed for 38 yards for UCLA, while Keegan Jones added 38 yards. Justyn Martin threw for 167 yards for the Bruins, while receivers T.J. Harden and Logan Loya had 59 and 57 yards respectively.
UCLA lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 322-260 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 18-14.
UCLA led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:57-27:03 split in that important category.
Next game, Penn State takes its act on the road to face USC looking for another win. For UCLA, they head home to face Minnesota.
