Rainbow Warriors Fall 28-7 Against Boise State - Game Recap

Ashton Jeanty scampered through the Hawaii defense for 217 yards as Boise State handed the Rainbow Warriors a 28-7 defeat on Saturday at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

Even though Boise State won, nobody won at the betting window as the game was a push (based on the closing point spread of -21.0. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 60.0.

Ashton Jeanty rushed for 217 yards, while Tyler Crowe added 13 yards in the win. Cameron Camper and Austin Bolt added 111 and 44 receiving yards respectively.

Landon Sims rushed for 12 yards for Hawaii, while Brayden Schager added 5 yards. Brayden Schager threw for 264 yards for the Rainbow Warriors, while receivers Nick Cenacle and Alex Perry had 59 and 57 yards respectively.

Boise State outgained Hawaii 450-279 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-17 by the Broncos.

Hawaii lost the time of possession battle 32:07-27:53, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Boise State takes its act on the road to face UNLV looking for another win. For Hawaii, they head on the road to face Washington State.
