UNLV Rebels vs Utah State Aggies Recap - Rebels Win 50-34
Jai'Den Thomas ran for 139 yards as UNLV handled Utah State by a score of 50-34 on Friday at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
UNLV did not, however, defeat the Aggies against the spread, which closed at -19.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 66.0.
Jai'Den Thomas rushed for 139 yards, while Kylin James added 105 yards in the win. Ricky White III and Jacob De Jesus added 138 and 49 receiving yards respectively.
Rahsul Faison rushed for 83 yards for Utah State, while Herschel Turner added 20 yards. Spencer Petras threw for 461 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Jalen Royals and Jack Hestera had 155 and 152 yards respectively.
UNLV lost the offensive yardage battle to Utah State 584-546 yards in Friday's game. Utah State had more first downs as that total ended up 32-25.
The time of possession battle favored UNLV as their offense was on the field for 31:02, longer than the 28:58 of their opponents.
UNLV looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oregon State. Utah State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. New Mexico.
