Georgia Southern Defeats Marshall 24-23 - Recap

Georgia Southern earned a 24-23 victory over Marshall on Saturday in Week 7 action at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.

Marshall lost the offensive yardage battle to Georgia Southern 422-389 yards in Saturday's game. Georgia Southern had more first downs as that total ended up 21-18.

Georgia Southern lost the time of possession battle 31:33-28:27, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Georgia Southern takes its act home to face James Madison looking for another win. For Marshall, they head home to face Georgia State.
