Blazers Fall 35-25 Against USF - Game Recap
USF won 35-25 on Saturday against UAB behind a 105-yard receiving performance from Keshaun Singleton at Raymond James Stadium.
USF did not, however, defeat the Blazers against the spread, which closed at -14.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 56.0.
Kelley Joiner rushed for 94 yards, while Ta'Ron Keith added 41 yards in the win. Keshaun Singleton and Kelley Joiner added 105 and 34 receiving yards respectively.
Lee Beebe Jr. rushed for 68 yards for UAB, while Jalen Kitna added 20 yards. Jalen Kitna threw for 384 yards for the Blazers, while receivers Amare Thomas and Dallas Payne had 97 and 67 yards respectively.
USF was outgained by UAB 485-355 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-18 by the Blazers.
The time of possession battle favored UAB as their offense was on the field for 34:35, longer than the 25:18 of their opponents.
Next game, USF takes its act on the road to face Florida Atlantic looking for another win. For UAB, they head home to face Tulsa.
