Texas A&M Aggies vs Mississippi State Bulldogs Wrap - Texas A&M Wins 34-24

Texas A&M earned a 34-24 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday in Week 8 action at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

The Aggies earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -21.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 55.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Le'Veon Moss rushed for 65 yards, while Amari Daniels added 47 yards in the win. Jabre Barber and Noah Thomas added 92 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

Davon Booth rushed for 79 yards for Mississippi State, while Johnnie Daniels added 50 yards. Michael Van Buren Jr. threw for 242 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Kevin Coleman Jr. and Kelly Akharaiyi had 89 and 45 yards respectively.

Texas A&M was outgained by Mississippi State 367-353 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-17 by the Bulldogs.

Mississippi State lost the time of possession battle 30:08-29:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Texas A&M takes its act home to face LSU looking for another win. For Mississippi State, they head home to face Arkansas.
