Georgia Bulldogs vs Texas Longhorns Recap - Bulldogs Win 30-15

The Longhorns came up short against the Bulldogs in Week 8 action on Saturday, falling 30-15 at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

Georgia won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +4.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 56.5.

Trevor Etienne rushed for 87 yards, while Nate Frazier added 10 yards in the win. Oscar Delp and Dominic Lovett added 45 and 35 receiving yards respectively.

Quintrevion Wisner rushed for 52 yards for Texas, while Ryan Wingo added 7 yards. Quinn Ewers threw for 211 yards for the Longhorns, while receivers Matthew Golden and Gunnar Helm had 77 and 62 yards respectively.

Texas was outgained by Georgia 283-259 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-14 by the Longhorns.

Texas lost the time of possession battle 30:26-29:34, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Georgia takes its act home to face Florida looking for another win. For Texas, they head on the road to face Vanderbilt.
