West Virginia Falls 45-18 to Wildcats - Recap

West Virginia couldn't hang with the Wildcats on Saturday as Kansas State blasted the Mountaineers 45-18 in Week 8 action at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Kansas State was the ATS victor, as they covered the -2.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 56.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

DJ Giddens rushed for 57 yards, while Joe Jackson added 32 yards in the win. Jadon Jackson and DJ Giddens added 84 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Garrett Greene rushed for 89 yards for West Virginia, while CJ Donaldson Jr. added 34 yards. Nicco Marchiol threw for 58 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Kole Taylor and Traylon Ray had 61 and 37 yards respectively.

Kansas State outgained West Virginia 412-295 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 20-19 by the Mountaineers.

West Virginia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:22-25:38 split in that important category.

Next game, Kansas State takes its act home to face Kansas looking for another win. For West Virginia, they head on the road to face Arizona.
