Bowling Green Defeats Kent State 27-6 - Recap

Connor Bazelak led the way with 313 passing yards on Saturday as the Falcons picked up a 27-6 victory over the Golden Flashes at Doyt L. Perry Stadium.

The Falcons earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -24.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 54.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Connor Bazelak completed 23 of 27 pass attempts for 313 yards for the Falcons in the win.

Ky Thomas rushed for 121 yards for Kent State, while Curtis Douglas added 18 yards. Tommy Ulatowski threw for 78 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Luke Floriea and Chrishon McCray had 35 and 21 yards respectively.

Kent State lost the offensive yardage battle to Bowling Green 434-204 yards in Saturday's game. Bowling Green had more first downs as that total ended up 25-11.

Kent State lost the time of possession battle 37:29-22:31, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Bowling Green looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Toledo. Kent State will aim to get back on the winning track at Western Michigan.
