Recap - Wolfpack Defeat California 24-23

CJ Bailey completed 25 of 36 pass attempts for 306 yards for the Wolfpack in the win.
Jaivian Thomas rushed for 78 yards for California, while Byron Cardwell added 34 yards. Fernando Mendoza threw for 282 yards for the Golden Bears, while receivers Jack Endries and Jonathan Brady had 101 and 39 yards respectively.
NC State lost the offensive yardage battle to California 399-363 yards in Saturday's game. California had more first downs as that total ended up 23-15.
California lost the time of possession battle 32:37-27:23, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
NC State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Stanford. California will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Oregon State.
