Recap - Bulls Defeat Akron 41-30

The Zips had no answer for Al-Jay Henderson on Saturday as the Bulls rolled to a 41-30 win at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field.

The Bulls were a -1.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 47.5.

Al-Jay Henderson rushed for 107 yards, while C.J. Ogbonna added 63 yards in the win. JJ Jenkins and Javien Cuff added 57 and 52 receiving yards respectively.

Jordon Simmons rushed for 68 yards for Akron, while Charles Kellom added 12 yards. Ben Finley threw for 354 yards for the Zips, while receivers Adrian Norton and Ahmarian Granger had 98 and 95 yards respectively.

Buffalo lost the offensive yardage battle to Akron 452-390 yards in Saturday's game. Akron had more first downs as that total ended up 23-19.

Akron lost the time of possession battle 32:56-27:04, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Buffalo looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Ball State. Akron will aim to get back on the winning track at NIU.
