Falcons vs Chippewas Final: 23-13 - Recap
Bowling Green got a 117-yard performance from Terion Stewart as a key part of its 23-13 victory over the Chippewas on Tuesday at Kramer/Deromedi Field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
Bowling Green did not, however, defeat the Chippewas against the spread, which closed at -16.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.5.
Terion Stewart rushed for 117 yards, while Jaison Patterson added 75 yards in the win. Harold Fannin Jr. and Malcolm Johnson Jr. added 86 and 36 receiving yards respectively.
Marion Lukes rushed for 72 yards for Central Michigan, while Tyler Jefferson added 65 yards. Jadyn Glasser threw for 57 yards for the Chippewas, while receivers Gavin Harris and Chris Parker had 25 and 25 yards respectively.
Central Michigan lost the offensive yardage battle to Bowling Green 388-250 yards in Tuesday's game. Bowling Green had more first downs as that total ended up 19-13.
Central Michigan lost the time of possession battle 35:53-24:07, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Bowling Green looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Western Michigan. Central Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track at Toledo.
