NIU Defeats Western Michigan 42-28 - Recap
Telly Johnson Jr. scampered through the Western Michigan defense for 141 yards as NIU handed the Broncos a 42-28 defeat on Wednesday at Waldo Stadium.

Telly Johnson Jr. rushed for 141 yards, while Antario Brown added 51 yards in the win. Trayvon Rudolph and Grayson Barnes added 74 and 31 receiving yards respectively.
Jaden Nixon rushed for 95 yards for Western Michigan, while Jalen Buckley added 80 yards. Hayden Wolff threw for 179 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Kenneth Womack and Jordin Parker had 51 and 41 yards respectively.
The time of possession battle favored Western Michigan as their offense was on the field for 30:36, longer than the 29:24 of their opponents.
