Rainbow Warriors Fall 29-27 Against UNLV - Game Recap
Hajj-Malik Williams tore up the turf for 122 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Rebels to a 29-27 win over the Rainbow Warriors at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
Bettors who backed the Rebels were disappointed, as they failed to cover the closing number of -12.5. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 50.5.
Hajj-Malik Williams rushed for 122 yards, while Jai'Den Thomas added 109 yards in the win. Ricky White III and Christian Moore added 128 and 27 receiving yards respectively.
Brayden Schager rushed for 42 yards for Hawaii, while Landon Sims added 25 yards. Brayden Schager threw for 282 yards for the Rainbow Warriors, while receivers Jonah Panoke and Dekel Crowdus had 90 and 74 yards respectively.
UNLV outgained Hawaii 465-374 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-16 by the Rebels.
UNLV led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:29-27:31 split in that important category.
Next game, UNLV takes its act home to face San Diego State looking for another win. For Hawaii, they head on the road to face Utah State.
