Oregon State Defeats Washington State 41-38 - Recap

Trent Walker caught 12 passes for 136 yards against the Washington State defense as Oregon State handed the Cougars a 41-38 loss on Saturday at Reser Stadium.

The Beavers were a +11.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 57.5.

Anthony Hankerson rushed for 83 yards, while Gabarri Johnson added 47 yards in the win. Trent Walker and Jermaine Terry II added 136 and 92 receiving yards respectively.

John Mateer rushed for 75 yards for Washington State, while Wayshawn Parker added 48 yards. John Mateer threw for 250 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Kyle Williams and Kris Hutson had 95 and 65 yards respectively.

Washington State lost the offensive yardage battle to Oregon State 484-384 yards in Saturday's game. Oregon State had more first downs as that total ended up 27-20.

Washington State lost the time of possession battle 38:23-21:37, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Oregon State heads into a Week 14 battle against Boise State. Washington State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Wyoming.
