Recap - Red Raiders Defeat Oklahoma State 56-48

Behren Morton sliced and diced the Cowboys defense for 366 yards as Texas Tech handed Oklahoma State a 56-48 defeat on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Behren Morton completed 35 of 50 pass attempts for 366 yards for the Red Raiders in the win.

Ollie Gordon II rushed for 156 yards for Oklahoma State, while Rodney Fields Jr. added 29 yards. Maealiuaki Smith threw for 326 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers De'Zhaun Stribling and Rashod Owens had 133 and 124 yards respectively.

Oklahoma State was outgained by Texas Tech 543-508 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 32-31 by the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State lost the time of possession battle 32:51-27:05, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Texas Tech looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against West Virginia. Oklahoma State will aim to get back on the winning track at Colorado.
