Akron Defeats Toledo 21-14 - Recap
Ahmarian Granger was good for 106 receiving yards on Tuesday as the Zips grabbed a 21-14 win over the Rockets at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field.

Charles Kellom rushed for 69 yards, while Tahj Bullock added 22 yards in the win. Ahmarian Granger and Israel Polk added 106 and 47 receiving yards respectively.
Connor Walendzak rushed for 87 yards for Toledo, while Tucker Gleason added 59 yards. Tucker Gleason threw for 289 yards for the Rockets, while receivers Junior Vandeross III and Anthony Torres had 84 and 82 yards respectively.
Akron lost the offensive yardage battle to Toledo 465-328 yards in Tuesday's game. Toledo had more first downs as that total ended up 30-18.
Akron lost the time of possession battle 32:24-27:36, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
