Recap - Huskies Defeat Central Michigan 24-16

The Chippewas came up short against the Huskies in Week 14 action on Saturday, falling 24-16 at Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium.

The Huskies won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -13.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

Telly Johnson Jr. rushed for 84 yards, while Gavin Williams added 65 yards in the win. Trayvon Rudolph and Gavin Williams added 97 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

Marion Lukes rushed for 78 yards for Central Michigan, while Myles Bailey added 28 yards. Jadyn Glasser threw for 92 yards for the Chippewas, while receivers Jesse Prewitt III and Marion Lukes had 37 and 20 yards respectively.

NIU outgained Central Michigan 332-204 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-15 by the Huskies.

Central Michigan lost the time of possession battle 33:37-26:23, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
