Sun Devils Fall 39-31 Against Texas - Game Recap
Quinn Ewers's 322-yard performance through the air was the key in Texas's 39-31 win over Arizona State on Wednesday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Texas did not, however, defeat the Sun Devils against the spread, which closed at -13.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 52.5.
Quinn Ewers completed 20 of 30 pass attempts for 322 yards for the Longhorns in the win.
Cam Skattebo rushed for 143 yards for Arizona State, while Sam Leavitt added 60 yards. Cam Skattebo threw for 42 yards for the Sun Devils, while receivers Cam Skattebo and Malik McClain had 99 and 42 yards respectively.
Texas lost the offensive yardage battle to Arizona State 510-375 yards in Wednesday's game. Arizona State had more first downs as that total ended up 29-17.
Arizona State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 37:54-22:06 split in that important category.
