Cardinals Fall 42-14 Against Washington - Game Recap

Brian Robinson Jr. ran for 101 yards as Washington handled Arizona by a score of 42-14 on Sunday at State Farm Stadium.

Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 48.5.

Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 101 yards, while Jeremy McNichols added 68 yards in the win. Olamide Zaccheaus and Terry McLaurin added 85 and 52 receiving yards respectively.

James Conner rushed for 104 yards for Arizona, while Trey Benson added 50 yards. Kyler Murray threw for 142 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson had 45 and 38 yards respectively.

Washington outgained Arizona 449-296 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-17 by the Commanders.

Arizona lost the time of possession battle 33:22-26:38, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Washington takes its act home to face Cleveland looking for another win. For Arizona, they head on the road to face San Francisco.
